My journey with photography began in 1988, when I first picked up a camera and fell into what would become a lifelong craft. Those early years were spent in the darkroom — hand-developing and printing film, learning to see light not just through the lens, but through the chemistry of the process itself. That foundation has never left me, and film photography remains part of my practice to this day, alongside modern digital work.

For much of my career, my camera of choice has been Hasselblad — a system I trust for its precision and the deliberate, unhurried way it asks you to work. I've used it to capture everything from quiet landscapes to intimate portraits to the energy of a packed car show, always chasing the same thing: an image that holds up to a second look, and a third.

More than three decades later, that same curiosity that started it all still shapes every session I shoot.
